Noise. Headache. Grinding, pounding. Metal on metal. Sparks fly in the dark. The sirens call out. Another Beast. The raft is ready just in time. Grab your things and go.

Nothing is more terrifying than the black river-streams that connect reality, but you know that people are helpless when divided.

So you ride metal rafts on the back of titanic Beasts, connecting city-world to city-world, trading salvage and bringing news of sons to mothers.

How many will the black currents claim this time? When you make port will it be you that disembarks, or just something that looks like you?

Black Currents is a short tabletop roleplaying game about a desperate journey. Most of the players will portray sailors, sailing the dangerous not-spaces between realities. One will portray the unknowable Beast they sail on. May they make safe port.
