Mappa Mundi – An Exploration + Ecology RPG is new TTRPG system that provides players a world to explore and the tools they need to do so. Taking on the role of Chroniclers — everyday people trained by the Mappa Mundi Institute — players set out to reconnect a world recovering from a century of ecological catastrophe.
Using a zero-combat system, Mappa Mundi asks players one simple question: How do you save a world without doing any harm?
With rules-light, narrative-first gameplay that prioritises collaborative storytelling, gives creative control over to players to shape the world they want to see, and that recognises the agency of non-human persons and the environment, Mappa Mundi is a love letter to worldbuilding.
