This Lovecraft Illustrated series is the brainchild of celebrated artist, Pete Von Sholly.

The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath is a novella by H. P. Lovecraft, published posthumously. Along with his 1927 novel The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, it can be considered one of the significant achievements of that period of Lovecraft’s writing. The Dream-Quest combines elements of horror and fantasy into an epic tale that illustrates the scope and wonder of humankind’s ability to dream.

Pete has written and illustrated many comic books and magazines for Dark Horse, Last Gasp, IDW, BOOM!, Kitchen Sink and others and has storyboarded over 100 feature films including The Shawshank Redemption, The Mist, The Green Mile, Darkman, Mars Attacks!, The Mask and James and the Giant Peach. H.P. Lovecraft has been a favorite author of his for many years and Pete has long wished to visualize his fabulous imagery in book form.
